Christina Chong

Christina Chong is a British actress, dancer and musician born in Enfield, London, to a Chinese father and an English mother. She began dancing at the age of four and attended the Sutcliffe School of Dance in Longridge. At 14, she gained a place at the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts in London, graduating five years later. After graduation, she moved to Berlin to star in the European premier of the musical Aida, written by Elton John and Tim Rice. After sustaining an injury, Chong returned to London in 2005 where she turned to acting. In 2011 she played Lorna Bucket in season 6 of Doctor Who, Sarah Witney in season 2 of Monroe, Lizzie Pepper in two episodes of Whitechapel in 2012 and recurring roles as DI Nicola Rogerson in Line of Duty, season 2 (2014) and Dominion season 2 (2015) as Zoe Holloway. She is best known for her role as La'an Noonien-Singh in the Paramount+ original series Star Trek: Strange New Worlds (2022–present). Chong's film credits include Johnny English reborn (2011), and Tom & Jerry (2021). She has also appeared in several short films and music videos. Her EP "Twin Flames" was released to multiple streaming platforms in 2023.
